ComponenteDevoto_constructive issues

In order to meet mr.Devoto, i've produced a project model realising all the compnents I have in my mind to built up the acoustic chair. I've temporarly suspended the acoustic analisys for this reason.

The whole design is a little bit rude at the moment.

0_GEOMETRY

At present the whole component's geometry is determined and i've reduced my conditions to 4 parameters only: maximum height of the "void", lateral width factor, chair widthopening angle. I'll be able to calculate a good configuration soon.

1_SITTING

The core compontent is a sitting, whose design is at present a little bit rude. I reckon this element to be load-bearing somehow (to study). In this particular configuration, all the pieces are 4 cm thick, so they can be cutten from the same panel.

2_SPINES

Four panel-thick spines (and the sitting component) bear the whole sistem.

3_RIBS

Ribs have to connect different components with stiff joints. I imagine them to be cut and milled starting from the same panel. I reckon this is the most complex component to design and produce.

4_RPGs

RPGs are obtained by four panels glued and milled together. It takes four panels because of their efficiency: with this solution rpgs difuses all the frequencies between 630-8000hz, and the depth of the element is proportional to the inverse of the minimum frequency. Most of the wood (approx 55%) is necessary for this element. Using 3 panels it will be possible to diffuse 830-8000hz, and the depth of the element is proportional to the inverse of the minimum frequency.

5_VEILS

the bottom part of the chair has to be closed with panels to be cut  specifically for this purpose.

I have to think to a top element to cover the component as well, since the acoustic behaviour is significantly improved by this condition.
