In this second exercise I used the composition of my building done for the first one but, this time, I enriched the palace with the system of balcony that strongly characterized the building elevation. I chose to analyze the solar radiation in two period of the year: the first one during all the summer season (from 21/06 to 22/09), and the second one during the winter period (from 22/12 to 21/03).

Ho avuto grandi problemi ad installare vasari, così ora vi consegno le due esercitazioni insieme.
My apartment is situated in Via Latina, Appio Latino neighborhood, on the fourth floor of a building of five in front of Parco della Caffarella. The block is surrounded by three other blocks on the north, south and east side; the west side is in front of the urban park. My apartment is on the south side and it takesa lot of sun irradiation every day, especially my room that is on south-east side it's very hot in summer and a bit cold during the winter.

Goal of the second exercise was to see how the solar radiation hits my building. To do this, I created on the 3d model, the objects, protruding elements and openings, windows, that affect the solar radiation of the building. Regarding the extruded elements, I selected the solid taken into account and with the command "EDIT IN PLACE" I modified the solid with "CREATE FORM" command I created the balconies and once completed I clicked "FINISH MASS".
