Med In Italy was presented at the Forum Ecopolis

Ecopolis is one of the most important national and international meeting places for all actors involved in furthering the sustainable growth of our cities.
It is a forum in which institutions, businesses and experts in the sector can meet up and discuss the most topical issues of the green economy; the forum brings together a multitude of experiences acquired by individuals and organisations that work on a daily basis to put forward solutions designed to meet the growing needs of sustainable business activity.

On the 23rd of March 2011, our Faculty Advisor Chiara Tonelli was invited to one of the Ecopolis technical workshop in which architectural, design and engineering professors and experts talked about the following theme: "The energy at sustainable cities service".

Chiara Tonelli introduced Solar Decathlon 2012 competition to the audience and the "Med in Italy" project and purpose.

The audience highly appreciated that for the first time Italy won the possibility to participate to the competition, esteeming the idea of transmitting the Southern Mediterranean traditions through a sustainable house.
