29-31 October 2012 - Med in Italy at Smart City - Bologna
SMART City Exhibition is the new exhibition arising from the partnership between FORUM PA and Bologna Fiere. A 3 days exhibition, from 29 to 31 October 2012 at Fiera di Bologna, characterised by meetings, workshops and much more.
The housing prototype MED in Italy will broadcast "live" during Smart City, showing the performance of a node of the new digital smart grid of the city.
The house shows its performance live on an innovative 3D network system, on WebGL protocol, currently among the research areas of companies like Google, combining it with the structuring of behavior over time in an historical database, searchable and interrogated by 3D interface, produced by the "green box" - a real black box of the house, connected to a smart grid wireless sensors at low voltage, that finally works in an integrated way, monitoring from the comfort to the balance of production and consumption of electricity, segmented on individual users to the "physical state" of doors and windows and installation.
All this showing a system that uses network protocols, open, lowering costs and making it extensible to the built heritage, with the ultimate aim to increase the awareness of users, putting them at the center of the control system and monitoring their living environment.
The house will be open to public during all the Fair, from 9AM to 6 PM.
