We believe that mixing different competences will enhance innovation and creativity. For this purpose our team involve students and professors from:

• The Master Degree in Architectural Design
• The Bachelor Degree in Architectural Science
• The Master Degree in Urban Design
• The Post Graduate Master Degree on Solar Decathlon

In particular, students from the Master Degree in Architectural Design have been chosen through a 10-days workshop (part of the Laboratory of Architectural Design 1M) focused on the design for RhOME. Each group was asked to elaborate a solution which could be applied to refill the void spaces of the roman suburbs, as well as to rebuilt in the historical towns near Rome. As a result, each group draw a final solution for the RhOME Versailles’ SDE house, applicable to the aforementioned context.

The RhOME team involves professors and researchers from two departments of Roma TRE University:

• the Department of Architecture, tasked with managing the entire investigation/design/build process, will also develop the architectural and technological aspects and assembly, elaborating the necessary passive strategies, with the following competences:
  • restoration,
  • urban studies,
  • architectural design,
  • structural design
  • energetic strategy,
  • lighting design
  • survey and representation
  • graphic design, web and communication materials;
  • computer science, for supporting digital systems and project and construction management;

• the Department of Management Studies (SAEG Department of Management and Law- Rome3) tasked to develop the business and fund raising plan and the marketing viability, as well as to delaine the communication policy.
