My work:

The site is Ciampino, a little town south of Rome.
For this exercise i decided to focus on four views at three different moments on the day: 9.30am, 2.45pm and 5.30pm.
In fact i think that to study how the sun-light affects on the buildings, is important to understand the move and the action of solar-irradiation on the same object, so to monitor the same facade during the day.
In this case i have chosen:
- view-south and view-east : because significant point of view about exposition, but also for the possibility of take photos!!!
- view-southeast-1 and view-southeast-2: because in that place there is a sort of court between two houses. This element is very interesting because the space created by two builds is quite closed and so receives few light. This feature is nice in summer, in fact the "court" and the common spaces of condominium (entry, stairs...) are always not too hot.

Notes:

After this first work i hope to start having a new approach to the relation between buildings and enviroment (in this case the sun), also because of i think that the solar irradiation has an important rule on the activities you can do every day: at home, in your work-place etc... So the architecture must not ignore the strong relation between human activities and build-space :)
