This work aims to analyze the insolation on a building and understand the projections of shadows at different times of day.
The chosen building is located on the street Enrico Cruciani Alibrandi in the neighborhood Vigna Pia, near at central region of Rome.
As Roma is located in parallel 41 , the level of sunlight according with different inclinations of the sun during the year.
This work initially explores two different times in the same day.
To make this analysis, I used the software Vasari and follow this steps:
1 - Change the units: Manage > Project Units (Image 01)
2 - Change the perspective view to orthographic view: Manage > Orthographic View (Image 02)
3 - To select the location: Analyze > Location (Image 03)
4 - To create the volume of buildings: Model > Create Mass (Image 04)
5 - In Sun Settings we can put the our and day we want analyze: Manage > Sun Settings (Image 05)
6 - Then, to see the shadows we just need turn on the Sun Patch e the Shadows. (Image 06)

8 - Images 09 and 10: 07:30 h
