The following study was conducted to Vasari Autodesk, to take as a first result of a study of sunlight and shadows generated throughout the day in a building. The object being analyzed is located on Via Damasco area San Paolo Rome. The surrounding area consists in buildings of similar height and shape (5 floors approximately 15 meters) at a distance of 10 m between them, those are primarily responsible for shadows generated.
The studies views were generated in 4 moments of the day: 9:00, 10:35, 13:00 and 15:35, which allows a sample analysis of solar incidence throughout the day observed in facades.
In the first picture at 9:00, the facade facing the South is lit as the East façade is partially shaded. at 10:35 both are well lit. In the afternoon east facade is in complete shade and South facade remains lit.
