Process:
Step1: Open the project used in the 1st exercise.
Step2 : It's necessary to add details such as canopies that could affect the building. In this case the only detail to be added are the balconies . Select the 3D model of the building and click on Model-->edit in place. Use the Line command to draw the balconies and then click create form--> void form.
Step3 : Once you have added the details, you pass to the analysis of solar radiation. Click on Analyze --> solar radiation.
Step4 : Select the faces to be analyzed. Click on multi day in the solar study box and choose the date.
I considered both the summer period from 21 June to 21 September ( 09.00 to 16.00 ) , that the winter period from 21 December to 19 March ( from 10.00 to 16.00 ) . In both cases, since the building is made up of about 100 apartments and therefore very large , the balconies are so small that they don't cause significant changes to solar radiation. So there isn't important details to consider in the study of radiation.
