In this second exercitation study the solar radiation and also increase more dettails like components (terrace, windows, shops) and vegetation. The edifice “ I live in Italy, Rome, more exacly between Garbatella and Piramide, Circonvallazione Ostiense. Here there’s a standard chessboard of buildings planned in 1970 whit the 4 faces perpendicular to the 4 cardinal points and the buildings are composed by 4m of business and 8x3=24m of flats, overall about 30m.” have 2 starcase that have 3 flats every plane, overall 8x3x2=48 flats. There are 6 different types of flats, i live on the first floor in B3 type (IMG01). The day-areas are exposed to S and E and the faces are made by yellow bricks, the night-areas are exposed to N and W and the faces are made by white plaster. In the following series of photos (IMG02-04) there are Vasari’s images so can see where the building have too much overheating and where too little. The second situation can make a critical causes inside and outside the building whit mildew and plaster’s swelling (IMG05-08). In these photos there's the vegetation too: on via Gaetano Casati there aren’t vegetation but on Circonvallazione Ostiense we can find to types of vegetation: Koelreuteria Paniculata (max 10m) on the board and Platanus Occidentalis (20-30m) on the traffic Island (park and parking lot). These threes shield the S side of the edifice ( arrive to shield the 6plane too)(IMG09-12). On my photos there are three different situations made by the changing of the seasons. The colours of my building are very similar to the colours of the vegetation of autumn and i love this situation! 24/03/2014
