As a second exercise we were asked to study the solar radiation hitting our house.
To the first model, made with Vasari, were added elements that could change the comfort in the building.
At the "base" of the palace are some places above commercial premises which are built homes. So the structure is formed by two blocks of different sizes, the smallest and the largest at the base above which mocks the underlying part.
As for facing North-East, there are balconies that protrude from the building, while on the north-western face, the balconies are recessed into the wall by not providing any kind of screen.
After the model, I analyzed the effect of solar radiation during the period of the summer solstice and the winter solstice, and during the spring equinox and the autumnal equinox.
Regarding the degradation, I have not encountered any visible sign on the walls.
