In this tutorial we are going to retail the building , to better understand the effects it has on it the solar radiation. We have been created various levels of the building volumes through the extrusion of contours. Next, we specify the projections or recesses of the balconies on the facade , through the use of the CREATE FORM- FORM VOID . After the modeling begin to analyze the behavior of solar facades at different times of the year through the command SOLAR RADIATION , setting " type: cumulative " - " in the unit: kWh / m ^ 2" . At the end we get a gradient analysis , which is a set of colors arranged in a linear order ( from blue to yellow) indicates that exposure to the sun , while blue indicates areas with strong shadow yellow indicates parts of high sun exposure. Thanks to the plan view, we can see how in particular the balconies take different shades depending on the orientation. In particular, on the structure there are some areas with detachments or missing parts most exposed to the sun ( yellow) and areas with mold in the shadows (blue). Indeed, the detailed pictures show us these phenomena. It must be said that the restoration work carried out , has restored much of the building. Only the inner edges of the various balconies ( constructed in reinforced concrete) and bowindow on the casing ( located on the 3rd or 4th floor ) have a small part moldy . Moreover, as can also document the various attached photos , the construction techniques used by the architect , or an external masonry face view alongside slabs of stone, mixed with great care in the choice of materials used , have improved the performance of the building.
