The area chosen for the our planning workshop's project is located near the Tiber river, in the Ostiense neighborhood. More precisely between the river  and Via del Porto Fluviale ( the street is a continuous of  a bridge that crosses the river known as "Ponte di Ferro" cause of its structure and ancient use).

 

 

 

 

 

The project's theme consists in a residential and commercial pole for a total amount of 10150 cubic meters. This quantity must be divided in the following way:

 

                    8400 cubic meters for Residential use   (2800 square meters)                       1750 cubic meters for shops and ateliers   (500 square meters)

 

 The residential amount must be divided in different kinds of apartments (100 sq.m., 75 sq.m., 50 sq.m., 35 sq.m., 25 sq.m.). Considering apartments' different sizes, in order to write up the tab we took a medium value of 65 sq.m.

 

 

 

Furthermore, the project area also includes the ruins of a necropolis located 3 meters below street level.
