Our project involves the construction of buildings for temporary residences and commercial spaces of relevance;

are provided 3,000 mq of residential divided into:

40 hotel-type accommodation rooms from 20/25 square meters for a total of 800 square meters
40 minialloggi 30-35 square meters for a total of 1,200 square meters
20 apartments 45-55 sqm for a total of 1,000 square meters
1,500/2,000 square meters of public services

The batch project is located at the intersection between Via degli Orti di Cesare, Viale Trastevere and Via Ettore Rolli.
The main features of the lot are the presence of gradients, and the curve given by the roads that surround it.

Hypothesis 1

After drawing the area and the buildings in the area of study, we have placed within the lot of our project by placing the portion of deflector rolls away (6 meters lower than in Viale Trastevere)

Once completed, the 3D model we went to investigate the effects of solar radiation and shadows on our building at different times of the day.

Summer Solstice at 10 am

Summer Solstice at 4 pm

Winter Solstice at 10 am

Winter Solstice at 4 pm

- After performing these analyzes, we noticed that in summer our building does not cast a shadow on the surrounding buildings unlike winter when the shadows are longer and reach them.

We also analyzed the option SOLAR ANALYSIS solar radiation accumulated from the building

Annual analysis

Analysis during the summer

-In conclusion of this analysis we were able to ascertain that most of the facades of the building are constantly irradiated by sunlight thanks to its orientation.

We have changed the names of the masses in the table going project browser with the command-LEVEL MODEL we created different levels of the building by activating the button MASS FLOORS.

Finally, using the command SCHEDULE  (MANAGE-SCHEDULES-SCHEDULE/QUANTITIES), we have calculated some data relevant to the project as FLOR AREA GROSS, GROSS SURFACE AREA, GROSS VOLUME and the number of housing.

Annual analysis

-At the end of the analysis of solar radiation we can see how the parts of the building facing onto Viale Trastevere receive much less than the only other facades both during the summer and during the winter
