PROCESS

step 1: open your project and put the details you need for the solar analysis of your building. I've put the windows only on the south-west facade because it was more problematic than the other facade.

step 2: click ok Sun settings to set the solar study on multy day, and start the study clicking Summer Solar Study. The click on sunrise to sunset, and start the study.

step 3: to start the analysis you have to click on Solar Radiation, choose the facade you want to analyze , set the unit to kWh/m2 and create a new style. clicking on the dots you enter on the windows Analysis Display Style, where you can create a new style.

step 4: this the final step: now click on Analyze and a different coloured dots will appear on your windows. This will allow to you to study the behaviour of your facade, more precisely, of your windows.

Analysis

SUMMER ANALYSIS_From the analysis of the windows you can understand as all of them receive a great amount of heat. For a south-west facade this is pretty normal so we need to act to reduce this kind of problem. Windows will be installed on the interior line of the wall and maybe on the facade will be installed some kind of shading device. it will likely be that the inhabitants will provide this type of device. 

WINTER_although being positive lit during the colder season, the heat  is too much also for this season. thanks to this analysis we realized how the windows shall be designed with a greater focus, to better respond to the interior comfort.

Il progetto delle bucature su ogni facciata ancora non è stata pensata adeguatamente per un'analisi di questo tipo. Nonostante questo,  questo primo approccio ad un'analisi delle bucature, è stata e sarà utile per comprendere meglio le problematiche relative alla progettazione che dovrà rispondere al comfort interno necessario per abitare.
