Performing solar radiation study

Esercitazione 2: Solar analysis

The house we're analysing is located in the northen part of Rome, which is also the highest part of the city, the climate conditions here are colder and more windy comparing to the rest of the city.

To perform a solar analysis click on "solar radiation" on the "analyse" menu. Remeber to change the unit of data display to kWh/m2. 

On the solar radiation window you can access the sun settings to decide the period of time the analysis will refer to. We performed a multi-day solar study of both summer and winter. Note that the solar radiation settings refers to the sun path menu, this is very helpful when considering both shading and solar radiation at the same time.
