Our Area of interest can be seen as a particular case, in fact it’s close to tall buildings which don’t allow to sunlight to penetrate in the right way until arrive at the road level.

Above all during the summer, when people need more shadows, sun rays hit almost all the square around the building.

Instead during the winter almost a quarter of the whole square is covered by shadows.

Analyzing sun influences on the facades I considered really important to use “Ecotect style ” a way of representation what use to cover all the surfaces with a juxtaposition of squares creating a net. I think that this is quite important because it helps you to be aware on the dimensions and on the relationship between them.

During a year we can notice that the S-W part enjoy more sunlight than the N-E one (albeit this is NOT a sensational discover but only a transposition of data).
