Esercitazione 2_Solar radiation

First of all I added to the old 3D some parts that colud influence the solar radiation or the study of the sun. With Create mass I maked the moldings but not the balconies or other projections or indentations because not relevant anough for this study. I have stilyzed the moldings as rectangles high thirty centimeters and one meter wide. Finished the volumes with the command Solar Radiation I started the Solar Analysis. I selected Multy-Day and I did either Winter Solar Study and Summer Solar Study. I selected all the volumes and also the ground and automatically it created the study.

Winter Solar Study

After Vasari's Solar Analysis I saw that the south-west prospect are heated by the sun while the north prospect are cold. The projections of the roof and the balconies are no use of the building. The roof is yellow and in this period is a really good think because the last floor should have a good temperature inside. The street in front of the building are not heated at all and it is a negative think in winter.

Summer Solar Study

After Vasari'summer analysis I saw that the prospects are not too much heated. In particular the north, the west and the east prospect result fresh.The roof is yellow and this means that the last two floors are unconfortable and hot during the summer seanson. I hoped that the moldings have some effect during this period of the year but it isn't like this. The street have some blue parts and this involves that it's confortable enough. In the summer the flats over look to the north side of the building are frash but there isn't too much light. The flats to the south are the opposit: hot but bright.

The deterioration fortunatly it's not present because it was restaureted recently but we can see that it started under the balconies due to the irrigation of the vessels and along the lower part of the facade due to the rain. 

In summer analysis but also in the winter we can see that the upper flows  are hotter than the lower ones. This is caused for the presence of ather buildings arround it. There are also some trees in front of the south faced but now are to much smoller to influence this analisys. Probably in a few years they will grow and they will mantain the facade fresher iven if  the tipe of trees is small.
