Analysis

The building in question is located in Montesacro district, in the north- east of Rome.

This area is characterized by many tall buildings and many trees along the roads that  make the area shady enough.

We have taken the last Vasari model created for the first exercise, and we have added some details like balconies, overhangs and windows to get a better result in the study of solar radiation.

Analisi

L’edificio in questione si trova nel quartiere Montesacro, a nord-est di Roma.

Quest’area è caratterizzata da molti edifici alti e molti alberi lungo la strada che rendono l’area abbastanza ombreggiata.

Abbiamo preso il modello Vasari creato per la prima esercitazione, e abbiamo aggiunto qualche dettaglio come balconi, aggetti e finestre per ottenere un miglior risultato nello studio della radiazione solare.

I have chosen to analyze the effects of the rays of sunshine in the two most significant periods in the  year: summer and winter.

Ho scelto di analizzare gli effetti dei raggi del sole nei due periodi più significanti dell’anno: l’estate e l’autunno.

I have noticed that the building is protected enough from the others, so it’s no much exposed at sunshine.  The facing more exposed is the south facing, but the flats are comfortable enough all the year.

Ho potuto notare che l’edificio è abbastanza protetto dagli altri, quindi non è molto esposto alla luce del sole. Il fronte più esposto è quello sud, ma gli appartamenti sono abbastanza confortevoli tutto l’anno.
