For this exercise I've choosen to analyze the same area of my university. In order to do that I've first clicked "ANALYZE" and after "LOCATION". Then I've choosen the weather station nearer to my area.
-
To import an image of the area to work on I've selected "IMPORT IMAGE" after entering the address of my location and choosing the right size.
-
I've began creating some forms similar to our university by selecting "MODEL" and "CREATE MASS", I used the "line" and the "rectangle" keys to do that
-
I also created other forms similar to our university, to do that I've created other rectangles and I've extruded them in the right size by clicking "CREATE FORM" and theh "SOLID FORM"
-
To verify the behavior of my forms once exposed at the sun-light, I've selected "SUN PATH" and then I've setted up the month, the day and the hour. I've setted it up on April the 5th so I could easily verify if the behavior of the lights on the forms was similar to the real sun-light on our classrooms.
-
To see the real effect of the light I've setted up on the forms i had created I?ve selected "SHADOWS ON" in the bar at the bottom of the "Project Vasari view"
