Il pino domestico (Pinus pinea ) è un albero della famiglia delle Pinacee, diffuso nel bacino del Mediterraneo, in particolare sulle coste settentrionali, dove forma vasti boschi (pinete). Alto fino a 25 metri, sebbene l'altezza più comune sia sui 12-20 m. Ha un portamento caratteristico, con un tronco corto e una chioma espansa a globo, che col tempo diventa sempre più simile a un ombrello. La corteccia è spessa, marrone- rossiccia e fessurata in placche verticali. In Italia è coltivato praticamente ovunque, ad eccezione delle zone montuose.

First I set the levels to determine the different heights of the tree. The base of the trunk, the beginning of the crown, the height at which the canopy is of utmost width, and finally the summary of the tree height.

Selecting the vertical plane I designed the reference line (reference line) 

I selected the "0" level and designed extruding the circumference of the trunk to a height of 20 meters. Then I tapered with  the command "edit profile"  

The canopy is constructed with 3 circles; the base and the top of the canopy are to 20 and 28 meters in height and both have a diameter of 4 meters. The maximum width that reaches the canopy is 16 meters in diameter.

Create form with the command -> Solid form I created a single mass and have completed the canopy 

Finally, with the command Family types I added the parameters entering the data I needed from my tree
