Step 2: Click on new project
Step 3: Change the units of measure of the project from inches to meters, through the command Manage--->Project Units

The following study was conducted to Vasari Autodesk, to take as a first result of a study of sunlight and shadows generated throughout the day in a building. The object being analyzed is located on Via Damasco area San Paolo Rome. The surrounding area consists in buildings of similar height and shape (5 floors approximately 15 meters) at a distance of 10 m between them, those are primarily responsible for shadows generated.

L'edificio si trova in Via Monte Bianco 42, Colleverde di Guidonia. Le fotografie sono state scattate alle 7.30 e alle 10.30 del mattino. Si può notare come il fronte Nord durante le suddette ore sia sempre in ombra, mentre il fronte est ed il fronte sud, retrostanti, siano sempre ben illuminati.
The building is located in Via Monte Bianco 42, Colleverde di Guidonia. The pictures have been taken at 7.30 am and 10.30. We can notice how the Northern facade is in shadow, whie the Eastrn and Southern facades are always well lightened.

L'edificio situato in via Giovanni Branca ha un'altezza variabile, dai 4 piani al solo piano per l'ingresso.
Non è isolato, dunque le osservazioni sulle ombre riguardano anche l'edificato che lo circonda.
Si notano durante le ore del giorno influenze reciproche. L'ombreggiamento indiretto maggiore si riscontra nel lato sud-ovest dove l'edificato circostante presenta una maglia più fitta e volumi più alti.
