The study of this exercise is based on the analysis of solar radiation and on its effects on building's facades. Starting from the three-dimensional model built for the study of sunshine, I've included some construction details and through the command Ecotect Solar Radiation, I've been able to analyze the impact of solar radiation on the facades of the building both in winter and summer.

La seconda esercitazione riguarda l'analisi solare dell'abitazione di riferimento e del contesto limistrofo. Come si può vedere dalle diverse analisi eseguite in base al confronto dell'esposizione a vari periodi dell'anno; ovvero:

Questo studio sull'irraggiamento mi ha portato a comprendere diversi aspetti che non mi ero mai soffermato ad osservare. Mentre nella prima esercitazione avevo notato che l'orientamento sugli assi Nord-est Sud-ovest e Sud-est Nord-ovest fa in modo che tutte le facciate degli edifici non avessero mai una illuminazione diretta insufficiente, l'analisi più accurata di queste stesse facciate invece mi fa notare dei valori molto bassi di irraggiamento per alcune di queste.

This second exercize deals with the analysis of solar radiation. Unfortunately the program Vasari doesn’t work very well on my pc because I can’t click on “Solar Radiation”, but I’ve tried the same to do my exercise. I studied the building at 2.00 p.m. in the winter solstice and summer solstice. Looking the image the north-est facade seems to be  always in the shadows so it would be probably to find elements of degradation and stains.
