In this post I'm going to explain the procedure I followed to create a 3d model on Project Vasari and to show the shading due to sunlight in different periods of the day.
First I chose a location (Rome, Italy) and a weather station, then I imported the map of the area on the ground level. Thereafter I used the "create mass" control to enter in the modeling mode, then I drew the borders of the buildings I chose, and I extruded them. Finally I set the sun settings in different parts of

Autodesk Project Vasari is a useful software that allows us to analyze our buildings, for example, I decided to study the solar radiation in Via Byron.
First we have to import a location and a weather station, which will give us all the informations about the sun path.
Then we can create a 3d model of the buildings with the "create mass" command.
Finally, in the "sun settings", we can insert the desired day and hour.
