1- ES. LAB 6 SOLAR ANALYSIS - LATINA

Actions:

- I changed the parameters of measurement (from feet to meters);

- I set the orthographic view to eliminate the distortion of the figures;

- Set the reference area by clicking on "Location" and I imported the image;

- To create the volumes of the buildings I used the command "Create Mass" and changing the height, once finished the volumes I used the command "Finish Mass";

For the analysis of solar-I set the date and time with the command "Setting Sun" and I clicked on "Sun Path" and "Shadows" to get sun exposure.

Lab_6 1_ES Solar_ Analysis Assisi_Street_Rome Giacomo_Nicolò

The solar analysis involves my apartment located on the 7th floor of a building in  7, Assisi street, at the corner with Tuscolana street in Appio Latino Area.  The building, composed of 6 faces, is L- shaped and appears isolated since it’s flanked by  low-rise buildings only on the side which faces on Assisi Street. It stands out for its height: 9 floors, each one made up of three apartments; even if the 3 last floors of the north-east side degrades into terraces.

Esercitazione 1_Analisi solare (quart. Montesacro - Città Giardino - Roma)_Laura Coulibaly

L'area analizzata fa parte del III municipio di Roma,nel quartiere Montesacro. Si trova su un lotto compreso tra Via Monte Fantino, Via Picco dei Tre Signori e Via Monte Nevoso. La palazzina analizzata è composta da cinque piani e risulta cirocondata da alberi e verde, aspetto che va ad incidere ovviamente sull'ombreggiatura, ancora non contemplata in questa fase dell'analisi.

Lab_6 ES_1 :Sun's travel on Via Innocenzo X (Monteverde Vecchio)_Rome(Italy)

Il primo passo per iniziare il mio lavoro è stato quello di creare un modello 3d.Descrivo molto brevemente come ho fatto.

1. ho impostato le unità di misura (immagine 1 in allegato) in metri e centimetri andando su 'manage',selezionando 'settings' ed infine 'project units'

I first changed the parameters ( from feet to meters ) , after I set the orthographic view and from the “Sun setting” command I tried my position and imported the image to create the buildings.To create the volumes of  buildings I used the command "Create Mass " and I changed the height according to the plans, and once finished I clicked on " Mass Finish " to end the operation .For the analysis of solar I clicked on "Sun Path " and " Shadows " to get the solar mask and I put the time and date when I photographed my building.
