In order to learn working with project Vasari I decided to develop the 3d model of a school in Val Melaina, professor Vidotto’s project area (img2). I had enough photographs to check the correct function of the shadows.

First, I put the area view in the Rvt file. I took 2 images because I wanted a less-pixelated frame. (img3)

1 step. choose location: 

ANALYZE -> LOCATION (vidotto's area)

2 step. create masses:

MODEL -> CREATE MASS -> FINISH MASS

3 step. add mass floors:

MODIFY -> MODIFY MASS -> MASS FLOOR

4 step. sun and shadows

MANAGE -> SUN SETTINGS (tests at different hours and days)

Ho provato a realizzare con l'applicazione Vasari un isolato di via Aldo Manuzio.
Dopo aver creato una serie di masse ho inserito il percorso del sole e reso visibili le ombre tramite i rispettivi comandi.

Ho impostato quindi la data e l'orario in cui ho scattato la foto di riferimento, ovvero le 16.20 del 4 aprile 2012.

Primo Passo:_FIRST STEP

inserimento della mappa con individuazione degli edifici scelti._ANALYZE – LOCATION - IMPORT SITE LOCATION

Secondo Passo:_SECOND STEP

creazione dei volumi in base alle relative dimensioni_MODEL-CREATE MASS-FINISH MASS

Terzo Passo:_THIRD STEP

For this firs experience with Project Vasari I loaded the location and begun drawing the contest in which our project should be placed.

After drawing my project too I activated the "Sun Path", to analyze the shadows in some particular moments of the year.
