2nd exercise: study of the influence of the solar radiation in the building (analysed in the 1st exercise) situated in Via G. Lazzati 185,00166 rome

Firstly I added on the facade exposed to south semicicrcular balconies and  verandas where the entry of the building is.Looking better,the veranda is one meter above from the level (0.00). Then I added to the 1st floor like a veranda(looking to the upload pic you can see that the windows of the 1st floor are two meters back comparing the surface of the whole facade.

1. Per questa seconda esercitazione ho ripreso il modellino del mio palazzo già realizzato nella prima, dettagliandolo maggiormente aggiungendo il portico appoggiato su pilastri, un elemento importante addossato alla facciata principale che dà sulla piazza.

2. Inoltre ho aggiunto un basamento sotto l'edificio, che rappresenta il terreno su cui è appoggiato.

First of all I added to the old 3D some parts that colud influence the solar radiation or the study of the sun. With Create mass I maked the moldings but not the balconies or other projections or indentations because not relevant anough for this study. I have stilyzed the moldings as rectangles high thirty centimeters and one meter wide. Finished the volumes with the command Solar Radiation I started the Solar Analysis. I selected Multy-Day and I did either Winter Solar Study and Summer Solar Study. I selected all the volumes and also the ground and automatically it created the study.

Attraverso il comando SOLAR RADIATION è stato possibile analizzare l’incidenza della radiazione solare sui lati del mio edificio.

Dallo studio effettuato su i quattro fronti è emerso che le facciate maggiormente esposte all’incidenza del sole sono quello Sud-Ovest e Sud-Est, sia per la loro naturale esposizione, sia per la mancanza di schermature e per la lontananza degli edifici circostanti.
