One of the most important theme in the hangar-renewal project is the barrisol blanket design: that's because the project needs to be feasible, while 3d models often are not.
In this case, for instance, we have to understand how to design 3d developable surfaces.

I've designed the elements of the acoustic chair thinking about
the nesting, and now i'm going to explain the nesting procedure for those pieces.
1_from elements to nesting Most of the space in devoto's boards shall be given to the rpg modules: a pouf model needs 2 x 35 = 70 of these elements, whose function is either acoustic, or static, or both acoustic and static.

I'm going to update the site with the lastest news from the project. I'm starting with some images from the assemblies.
As i told, the variation consists in a customized angle plus the inner variation of each element

In order to finish my work for the ComponenteDevoto, i need to build up the constructive model, dimensioned to fit in the material mr.devoto gave us. I've started for that producing separate elements, to nest and assembly them easily.
I have all the necessary informations to make this step since the last post, in which i had found the forms, the elements and their customization.

I would like to introduce in my blog the project for an acoustic space i'm studying with my friend Mario Leonori. I'm receiving an aid by Stefano and Elisa Conversano to develop the theme, from now on news about the project will be published here.
My role is essentially to design and study the space, both on acoustic and constructive and dimensional aspect.
